Transferring Fire Simulations Onto and off of Android Devices
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We’re going to start by getting a sim off of your Android device. So I’ve connected my Android device and on the device I had to actually set it to be a USB drive or a media drive, and it shows up here. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. I double click on this. Now, our SimsUshare files get installed on the phone even if you have an SD card. So I’m going in here, I’m going to look for my SimsUshare folder. I go in here and inside this, I actually have my Sims folder and let’s say I want to take one of my simulations like this “CAMB”, I can just copy individually or I can copy multiple folders, easy enough. Now what I’m going to do is open up on my Windows computer, I’m going to go to my document, SimsUshare, and I’m just going to drop it into my Sims folder. So Documents, SimsUshare, Sims. Now when I open up SimsUshare, you’ll see it automatically recognizes a sim that wasn’t there before. “Found one new sim––CAMB––should I add it?” I say yes. Now when I play, I have whatever CAMB is. So it’s easy to get sims off of the Android device and just as easy to get it back onto the device.
So let’s say now––I’m going to lower this here, let’s say now I want to bring “HOUSEGARAGE” onto my Android device I can select it. Maybe some other ones as well if I wanted, “OLIVETTIMALL,” “IF-HIRISE,” I copy them, and now all I do on my Android device is I go here and I just, into this folder SimsUshare Sim,s and I paste it. Once I paste them in there, now on my Android device, all I have to do just like I did on my Windows, I open up Android, and it will say hey I found a new sim, do I want to add it? So very simple to get sims onto and off of Android devices.
