              SimCloud Simulation Sets

              The following sets of simulations are available for download through the SimsUshare Sim Cloud, part of the SimsUshare CTC.

              To download sims directly into the SimsUshare app:

              1. In SimsUshare, from the main screen, click EDIT or PLAY;
              2. In the menu, choose “Download Sims”;
              3. In the next screen, choose “SimsUshare SimCloud” and press Connect;
              4. Enter the login and password for the sim set you want to retrieve (see the sim sets below for the login and password);
              5. On the screen that follows, click on the sim to download from the left, then click the arrow (>);
              6. If you want to download more sims, repeat step 5;
              7. When you are ready to download the sims, press “Start” — SimsUshare will download and install the sim(s) in your app.

              To import sims into your SimCloud account:

              1. Log into your CTC account (https://ctc.simsushare.com);
              2. Go to the Simulations tab;
              3. Look at the bottom of the screen under “Manage Repositories”, and click in the left box on the simulation pack from the sets below (for example, “Residential Urban Simulations #1”);
              4. A list of sims in that set will show in the list box on the right. Click on the sim you want to bring into your cloud storage and click the “Import Sim” button. Make sure you have enough space/slots in your sim storage allowance, or email us to request more;
              5. In the SimsUshare app, from the main screen, click either EDIT or PLAY;
              6. From the menu, choose “Download Sims”, then choose “SimsUshare SimCloud” and press Connect and enter your credentials;
              7. On the screen that follows, click on the sim to download from the left, then click the arrow (>). Repeat the previous action to queue more than 1 sim at a time;
              8. Press “Start” — SimsUshare will download the sim(s) to your app.

              A set of simulations designed to help you get started.

              • Commercial Size-ups (click here for an Instructor’s Guide): A series of five commercial buildings (AutoZone garage, Burger King fast-food restaurant, Fair N’ Square super market, Home Depot big box, and a restaurant in an old strip mall), each with a few views each to practice your size-ups.
              • Effects Library: A sim that shows all of the effects available in SimsUshare;
              • ISO In Action JIBC: House with roof collapse option to mimic incident described in Dodson’s ISO Book Chapter 2
              • Residential Freeburn: 2-story single-family residence with 2-car garage in center
              • TCFD Hi-Rise: fire in upper floor apartment
              • TCFD Single Family Residence: heavy conditions on arrival, extension to send floor, and knockdown conditions
              • TruGas: Fire in office of small commercial propane delivery company.

              A set of advanced simulations useful for training teams and assessing command personnel.

              • Garage Fire Multi-Unit (click here for Instructor’s Guide): Midwest single family house garage fire, multiple timed roles (3 engines, 2 ladders, 1 Rescue, 1 Battalion Chief)
              • Basic House Fire Multi-Unit (click here for Instructor’s Guide and BC and CO evaluation sheets): Northeast (Ontario) single family residence bedroom fire. This has separate sims for each role, but has timing to synchronize the evolution of the conditions

              • Marina Way House: 2 story free-standing beach house with fire and victim 2nd floor
              • Mimi’s: 2 story wood-frame construction iconic restaurant fire on 2nd floor and into roof/attic
              • Salvation home: 2 story retirement home for clergy
              • SJP: South Jersey Propane, commercial propane filling station; fire in office
              • Sunset Market: wood-frame construction commercial market with residence on 2nd floor, fire showing off roof

              Set of five (5) simulations created from pictures in Bridgeport, CT for single-family and high-rise residences. All simulations are structured to have four (4) conditions/states per location: arrival, [B] better/improving, [W] getting worse, and [D] defensive.

              Note: We also have the five sims set up for use in the CTC. They are named the same as the original, but with a “CTC” suffix. The CTC versions do not allow participants to increase or decrease the condition by themselves with the center arrows — the CTC versions are for an instructor to place the participants in the appropriate condition and advance them at the instructor’s choice.

              • 109 Myrtle: Attached 3-Story Single Family Residence – First Floor Fire
              • 120 Myrtle: Free-Standing 3-Story Multi-Family Residence – 2nd Floor Fire extends to Third Floor
              • 323 Fairfield Ave: 5-Story Apartment Block Taxpayer Fire in Commercial Space with Extension to Second and Third Floors

              • 352 Mountain Road: Single family two-story country home, ordinary construction, fire in B-C corner bedroom threatening then extending to second floor
              • 40 South Main Street: Apartment building with room and contents fire starting on 4th floor Delta extending upwards ultimately to reach 6th floor and wrapping to Alpha and Bravo sides
