Introduction to SimsUshare States

Wednesday, January 22, 2020

Description:

This is an intermediate webinar about a new SimsUshare feature: SimsUshare States. States gives you a way to group locations reflecting the same condition, for example, incipient, extension, knockdown, etc. With playback in the CTC, when you change the state (such as changing to the extension state), SimsUshare moves all units to their proper location for that condition. Remarkably we’ve done this without complicating the user interface, so this webinar gives you a peek into how to activate and use this important new capability!

How to Create and Play Your Sims Anywhere

Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11:30am-12:00pm

You may be aware that the SimsUshare sim viewer is free (unlike other fire simulation software), but did you know you can install the sim viewer on a USB drive and play your sims anywhere?

If you want to learn how to do this, you need to attend this Users Group Meeting. This meeting will show how easy it is to carry and show sims on computers or devices other than on the ones that the sims were created. This feature is not an afterthought—making your sims available anywhere is one of the principle goals of SimsUshare!

In the 30 minute presentation (20 minute walkthrough, 10 minute Q&A), we will show you how to:

    • Install the free sim viewer on a USB drive
    • Copy your sims to a USB drive
    • Run SimsUshare from the USB drive
    • Create sims anywhere by moving your ‘floating’ subscription license among devices.

But wait, there’s more…we are also excited to show you how you can now use SimsUshare to create localized sims for your AlphaACT fire training subscription! This event may be the most informative 30 minute learning session you attend this year, so please reserve your spot today!
